Cathi Carrier: From One Treatment Room to Every Woman’s Vanity

The quiet of a treatment room, transformation happens one face at a time. For years, that was Cathi Carrier’s world: the intimate hum of a steamer, the weight of a client’s story, the small but powerful act of helping a woman look in the mirror and see herself differently.

But there came a point when the four walls of her spa in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, felt too limiting. “My treatment room can only treat one woman at a time,” Carrier explains. The realization wasn’t about numbers. It was about impact. She wanted to bring the confidence she cultivated in her chair to women far beyond the reach of her spa.

That decision meant closing one chapter and opening another: selling her thriving business and founding Purely Bella Skincare.
