BARRIER SAFE
Fragrance-free · No essential oils · No masking scent
Tired eyes don't have to be permanent. Tight & Bright Peptide Eye Gel is a lightweight, cooling peptide eye gel that brightens the look of dark circles, visibly firms, and depuffs — without heaviness or added fragrance.
Wake up looking refreshed, even when you're running on little sleep. This is not camouflage — it's correction. Powered by astaxanthin — a well-studied antioxidant carotenoid — alongside targeted peptides, it works to firm the look of skin, brighten, and defend the most delicate area on your face.
Key ingredients & what they do for you
-
Astaxanthin — a well-studied antioxidant carotenoid that helps defend the eye area against daily stress, screen time, and UV-induced oxidative damage — a key driver of under-eye thinning and dark circles.
-
Targeted peptides — visibly firm and smooth the look of the under-eye area.
-
Cooling gel texture — delivers an instant depuffing sensation via the metal applicator.
-
Weightless gel formula — hydrates without heaviness and layers perfectly under concealer and makeup.
-
No fragrance, no essential oils — nothing added for scent, which matters more on the eye area than anywhere else on the face.
Why astaxanthin is in here.
Astaxanthin is one of the most-studied antioxidant carotenoids in skin research, with published work on moisture, elasticity, and protection against UV-induced oxidative damage — a key driver of under-eye thinning and dark circles. It's why this formula defends the delicate eye area while the peptides do the firming work.

Who it's for
- Women who want to look rested even when they're not.
- Anyone looking to reduce the look of puffiness and dark circles.
- Those wanting to firm the look of the under-eye area without heaviness.
- Sensitive and hormonally reactive skin that needs a fragrance-free, essential-oil-free eye gel.
How to start: your first two weeks
The eye area is thinner, less oily, and more reactive than the rest of the face — even barrier-safe formulas deserve a slow introduction here. This one is built for reactive skin, but how you start still matters.
Patch test first. A rice-grain amount on your inner forearm at night for two nights, before it goes near your eyes.
Week 1 — once daily, morning only. Week 2 — morning and evening, if week one felt comfortable. If you are also starting other new products, add them one at a time, four days apart.
Apply with your ring finger in a light tapping motion — never rub or drag the eye area, even when it feels comfortable.
Stop and email me at contact@purelybellabeauty.com if you notice stinging that doesn't settle within 15 minutes, redness or swelling that's still there a day after you stop, itching, or bumps. The eye area is where I most want to hear from you early.
Questions shoppers ask before buying
-
Will this irritate sensitive or hormonally reactive skin? It's built for it. There is no fragrance and there are no essential oils in this formula — the two most common causes of eye-area reactions. Peptides, aloe, licorice root, and centella do the work instead. Follow the two-week build above and patch test first if you know your eye area reacts easily.
-
How long until I see results? The cooling gel depuffs on application; the firmer, brighter look at the under-eye builds over consistent use across several weeks.
-
How do I use it without tugging delicate skin? Apply with your ring finger using a light tapping motion — never rub or drag the eye area.
-
Will it work under makeup? Yes — the weightless formula layers perfectly under concealer, so it sits smoother, lasts longer, and needs to work less hard.
How to use, once you're fully built up (30 seconds, morning & evening)
-
Step 1 — Apply after serum or moisturizer: Eye gel goes on after any serum or facial moisturizer, but before heavier creams or oils. This layering order ensures the peptides make direct contact with the delicate eye-area skin.
-
Step 2 — Use only your ring finger: Your ring finger applies the least natural pressure of any finger. Tugging and dragging thin skin accelerates the very sagging you're trying to prevent.
-
Step 3 — Tap, never rub: Dispense a grain-of-rice-sized amount onto your ring fingertip. Using a light tapping motion, work from the inner corner of your under-eye outward, then along the brow bone.
-
Step 4 — Include the brow bone and outer corner: The hooded, crepey skin above the eye and the fine lines at the outer corner respond well to peptides over time.
-
Step 5 — Morning? Finish with SPF on your face: UV exposure accelerates the collagen breakdown that creates hollowing and fine lines. Apply a facial SPF 30+ around — not directly in — the eye area.
Pro tip from Cathi: Store this in the refrigerator. Chilled eye gel de-puffs on contact and gives your skin a wake-up that no amount of coffee can match. It takes 10 seconds and the results are visible immediately. My clients who do this never go back to room temperature.
Complete the routine Cathi recommends for perimenopausal skin
